Welcome to A.T.S. CA. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your request for ice machine repair, maintenance, diagnostic, and related services. By using this website, submitting a service request, calling us, or scheduling an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Company Information
A.T.S. CA provides independent ice machine repair and maintenance services in Southern California.

2. Independent Service Provider
A.T.S. CA is an independent appliance and ice machine repair company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Scotsman or any other appliance or ice machine manufacturer unless expressly stated in writing.
All brand names, logos, trademarks, and model names are used only to identify the appliances and ice machines we service. Scotsman is a registered trademark of its respective owner.
3. Services Provided
A.T.S. CA provides diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for residential and commercial ice machines, including Scotsman ice makers and ice machines.
Our services may include inspection, troubleshooting, cleaning, maintenance recommendations, part replacement, and repair work approved by the customer.
4. Diagnostic Fee and Service Call
A diagnostic or service call fee may apply for each appointment. This fee covers the technician’s visit, inspection, and diagnosis of the reported issue.
If the customer approves and completes the recommended repair, the service call fee may be waived or applied toward the repair, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
5. Estimates and Pricing
All repair estimates are provided after inspection and diagnosis. Prices may vary depending on the model, condition of the unit, parts availability, labor required, service location, and accessibility of the equipment.
Additional charges may apply for emergency service, extended travel areas, difficult access, built-in installations, outdoor units, commercial equipment, after-hours appointments, or additional labor.
No repair work will be performed without customer approval.
6. Customer Approval
By approving an estimate, the customer agrees to the scope of work, pricing, and terms provided by A.T.S. CA.
Any additional repairs, parts, or labor discovered during the service may require a revised estimate and separate customer approval.
7. Parts and Availability
Replacement parts are subject to availability. Some parts may need to be ordered and may require additional time for delivery.
A.T.S. CA is not responsible for manufacturer delays, discontinued parts, backordered parts, shipping delays, or changes in part availability.
Parts supplied by the customer are not covered by A.T.S. CA warranty.
8. Limited Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, A.T.S. CA provides the following limited warranty on approved and completed repairs:
Labor Warranty: 30 days from the date of completed repair.
Parts Warranty: 90 days from the date of completed repair.
The labor warranty covers labor related only to the specific repair performed by A.T.S. CA.
The parts warranty applies only to parts supplied and installed by A.T.S. CA. If a covered part fails within the warranty period, A.T.S. CA may replace the defective part subject to inspection and verification.
After the 30-day labor warranty expires, labor charges may apply even if a part is still covered under the 90-day parts warranty.
9. Warranty Exclusions
The limited warranty does not cover issues caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, water quality problems, scale buildup, clogged filters, clogged drains, external plumbing problems, electrical issues, power surges, improper installation, pest damage, customer negligence, physical damage, or unrelated failures.
Warranty also does not cover new problems, different symptoms, pre-existing conditions, intermittent issues that cannot be verified, or failures caused by components that were not replaced during the original repair.
Cleaning, maintenance, descaling, drain clearing, water filtration issues, and water supply problems are not covered under repair warranty unless specifically stated in writing.
10. Maintenance and Cleaning
Ice machines require regular maintenance, cleaning, and descaling to operate properly. Lack of maintenance may affect ice production, ice quality, performance, and repair reliability.
A.T.S. CA may recommend cleaning, maintenance, filter replacement, descaling, or additional service based on the condition of the unit.
Failure to follow maintenance recommendations may void warranty coverage.
11. Access to Equipment
The customer is responsible for providing safe and clear access to the ice machine, water shutoff, electrical outlet, drain line, and related components.
Additional labor charges may apply if the unit is difficult to access, built into cabinetry, installed outdoors, installed in a tight space, or requires additional time to remove or reinstall.
12. Water, Drain, and Installation Issues
A.T.S. CA is not responsible for external plumbing, drain lines, water supply lines, water pressure issues, shutoff valves, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, or installation-related problems unless specifically agreed in writing.
Repairs to the ice machine do not guarantee correction of external water supply, drainage, or installation issues.
13. Limitation of Liability
A.T.S. CA is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, prior leaks, water damage, mold, flooring damage, cabinet damage, property damage, manufacturer defects, improper installation, poor maintenance, or issues unrelated to the service performed.
The customer is responsible for monitoring the equipment after service and reporting any issues promptly.
14. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Customers should notify A.T.S. CA as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
A missed appointment, no-show, or same-day cancellation may be subject to a service fee.
15. Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not guarantee that every issue can be repaired or that parts will be available for every model.
Website content may mention common symptoms and possible causes, but an in-person diagnosis is required to determine the actual problem.
16. No Manufacturer Affiliation
A.T.S. CA is not an official Scotsman service center and does not claim to be authorized, sponsored, endorsed, or certified by Scotsman unless expressly stated in writing.
Any use of the Scotsman name is for identification purposes only, to describe the type of ice machines and appliances we service.

17. Changes to These Terms
A.T.S. CA may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of this website or our services means you accept the updated terms.
